“ZERO WASTE” Era at UZMAR Shipyard!

Within the scope of Zero Waste Regulation, which was published in the Official Gazette dated 12/07/2019 and numbered 30829, UZMAR Shipyard has updated the waste regulation system to the zero waste system and became the first shipyard to receive a Zero Waste Certificate in Kocaeli Free Zone.

Reduce! Reuse! Recycle!

A temporary storage area is established for recyclable wastes in UZMAR Shipyard and detailed personnel training is completed on the Zero Waste system. Plastic, glass, paper, metal, and all other recyclable wastes are labeled and collected in this area will be collected by the municipality for processing in recycling facilities.

UZMAR Shipyard will be contributing to recycling in the region with the Zero Waste Certificate it has received, and the shipyard develops its environmental policies day by day.
