Uzmar proudly delivered 2 tugboats to leader towage company Svitzer.

The delivery ceremony was hosted by UZMAR on March 12nd 2019 for two RAstar 3200 Class Escort -Towage tugboats. The delivery protocol is signed by Mr. Noyan Altuğ, CEO of UZMAR and Esben H. Grundtvig, Head of New Building of Svitzer with the presence of Mr. Kim Moller Caspersen Project Manager – Group of New Building and Mr. Dalton Alister, Regional Marine Manager – Fleet & Operations from Svitzer.

Designed by the reputable Canadian naval architecture firm Robert Allan Ltd., RAstar 3200 series tugs will be used for duties such as safely berthing, deberthing and escorting of all types of vessels.

UZMAR has the speculative building of vessels in its highly capable shipyard to meet the increasing demand of the market for ready to operate and high-quality standard tugs. Vessels were ordered by Svitzer in January 2019. Outfitting and required tests are finished within 2 months and both tugs are prepared promptly for the delivery.
